The Black Estate - Art Miami December 2 - 6, 2009 We are excited to announce that Keep Adding's Noah MacDonald will be at Art Miami this year with another creative venture, The Black Estate. The Black Estate is an artists' collaborative comprised of Noah MacDonald and Scott Pagano. Devotion Gallery - The Fourfold Roots of Everything October 31th - December 14th, 2009 An inaugural group exhibition. Reception and costume party at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday October 31, 2009. Devotion Gallery, 54 Maujer Street, Brooklyn, NY, 11206. Keep Adding will present a new custom installation of Gradient Ghosts plus new work in vinyl. Wonderland, curated by Lance Fung October 17th - November 15th, 2009 Symposium - October 18th, 2 - 4 pm at the Warfield Theater (admission is free) The exhibition Wonderland is a large, multi-sited event born of, and responding to the rich diversities of San Francisco's Tenderloin district. Keep Adding's Brian Bixby is creating a site specific project with artist Sydney Cooper. Mitsu Overstreet, a Keep Adding collaborator, is creating a site specific community mural project with artist Roman Cesario. The relationship between musical scores and conceptual art is well documented: from early Stockhausen scores and John Cage's seminal work, to the conceptual art strategies of Sol LeWitt and Yoko Ono, artists have found the idea of the score as a useful tool to further artistic practices. We are fans of Marsen Jules and inspired by his music to create strange hybrid designs and photography for these releases on his record label Oktaf. Michael Fakesch, I Want It, music video Keep Adding produced a new music video for Michael Fakesch's latest solo album, Dos, released on !K7 Records. The project is scheduled to be released in 2009 as a DVD and book. Plateaux Festival - Aeroc and Keep Adding live in Poland November 7 - 9, 2008 We are excited to announce that Keep Adding (US)/Aeroc (US) will premiere a new A/V performance entitled "Less Sleep" at this years Plateau festival. The 3 day festival includes many of our favorite artists including; Alva Noto (Carsten Nicolai) (DE), Agf (DE)/Delay (FIN), Burnt Friedman (DE)/Jaki Liebezeit (DE)/Jeffers Egan (US), Taylor Deupree (US)/Richard Charter (US), Skoltz_Kolgen (CAN), Frank Bretschneider (DE), Ran Slavin (IL), Lillevan (DE), and others! Claiming Space September 4 - December 13, 2008 Claiming Space introduces examples of how urban dwellers claim, mark and record their place in the world. ART Santa Fe - Project Space July 10 - 13, 2008 Keep Adding will create new installation work as part of their project space at the 2008 Art Fair in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Festival of Animated Film, Stuttgart '08 May 01 - 06, 2008 Keep Adding's music video for Michael Fakesh, I Want It, will be screened at the 15th Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film. With over 50,000 visitors to cinemas in Stuttgart as well as 1,000 experts, the Festival is one of the largest events for animated film worldwide. Art Basel Miami - Red Dot Art Fair December 06 - 09, 2007 Keep Adding will show new light boxes at the 2007 Red Dot Art Fair in Miami Beach. Available now - Umfeld DVD Keep Adding crafted the illustration/design and layout for Jochem Paap and Scott Pagano's new release, Umfeld. Keep Adding also collaborated with Scott Pagano on the DVD interface. Design Week Santa Fe 2007 Keep Adding has been chosen to speak on the Passion is Possible panel. Wrekage DVD - now available from Microcinema International Over five years in the making, this DVD documents "A History of Wrekage" by the artist group Keep Adding.
